CCSA will be hosting our College Planning Night on April 18th at 6:30 pm at the Cape Coral High School Auditorium. Discussion will include differences between the various levels of college athletics, making sure all necessary coursework in completed in high school, how to find additional sources of funds for college besides sports scholarships, guidance for use of social media, hosted by Kathy Moldawsky.
Kathy has a masters degree in counseling and Human services, and has 34 years of experience as a school counselor, an ACT/SAT prep advisor, and is an english language arts specialist. She has worked with students currently playing in the NFL, MLS, and at a variety of colleges including The Ohio State University, The University of Michigan, Harvard, Yale, USC, NYU, Notre Dame, University of Cincinnati, and many more.
In addition, licensed psychologist and long time head coach Marek Moldawsky will speak about mental toughness, anxiety and depression in athletes and the recruiting process. There will be a Q & A session at the end, so bring your questions!
